POSITION: NDT/RT TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT OR PERMANENT)
Responsibilities:
1.Perform NDT/RT inspections on piping and structures as per work requirements.
2.Write required RT reports
3.Responsible for applying inspection standard as specified in the order sheet
4.Responsible for appropriate handling of allocated equipment
5.Responsible for having necessary instructions/documents to conduct the inspection
6.Accurately complete inspection reports and deliver them on time as per order sheet requirements
7.Responsible for reviewing, understanding and implementing the internal quality requirements for the company’s management system
8.Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company.
9.Learns and abides by Company policies and procedures. Health, Safety & Environment
10.Responsible for using personal protective equipment correctly and ensuring that all PPE is maintained properly.
Requirements:
1.High school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
2.Must possess current certification as an ASNT (if applies) Level I or II in RT and/or MT and/or PT
3.Transportation of Dangerous Goods required with RT certification
4.Knowledge of inspection methods, standards, and procedures as applies
5.Knowledge of relevant testing equipment and desire to learn new type of equipment
6.Must have minimum two years In-Service experience, with specific experience in refining or petrochemical operations.
7.Ability to work with and without direct supervision
8.Able to perform work requiring the exercising of independent judgment.
9.Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
10.Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
11.Able to follow precise directions and procedures of the supervisor on the project.
