Leighton
Engineering Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Leighton Asia, India and Offshore (LAIO),
is a dynamic international engineering, procurement, construction, installation
and commissioning (EPCIC) company. Our strength lies in our ability to deliver engineering
works from concept, through FEED and to the completion of detailed engineering
as well as to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions / services
for our global clients in the upstream oil and gas industry.
We are
currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the
following positions to join our team of engineering professionals at our head
office in Kuala Lumpur.
1)Engineering
Manager
-A recognized
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Bachelor of Engineering.
-A minimum of
15 years total experience in offshore and/or onshore oil & gas project at
least 7 of which involve Project Engineering Management, Coordination and
Project Planning, associated with oil and gas production and processing and
offshore FEED.
-Registered
Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia in the relevant
discipline with at least 10 years working experience in oil and gas projects.
-A thorough
knowledge of codes and standards applicable engineering design as well as
knowledge of equipment design.
2)Project
Managers
-A recognized
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Bachelor of Engineering.
-A minimum of
15 years total experience in offshore and/or onshore oil & gas project at
least 10 of which involve Project Engineering Management, Coordination and
Project Planning, associated with oil and gas production and processing and
offshore FEED.
-Registered
Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia in the relevant
discipline with at least 10 years working experience in oil and gas projects.
-A thorough
knowledge of codes and standards applicable engineering design as well as
knowledge of equipment design.
3)Proposal
Manager
-A Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
-10-12 years
experience working at managerial level with Proposals/Pre-contract teams on
offshore/onshore oil & gas projects.
-Sound
knowledge of the Malaysia Offshore Oil & Gas market/competitors.
-Experience
in dealing with industry suppliers and subcontractors on commercial and
technical matters.
-An excellent
command of English with good presentation skills.
-A good
knowledge of Microsoft Office and estimating/tendering systems.
-Previous
Business Development and/or Bid Management experience an advantage.
4)Senior
Project/ Project Engineers
-A Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
-3 to 7 years
relevant experience (>8 years for Senior Engineers) in Project Engineering
with offshore/ onshore oil & gas projects.
-A thorough
knowledge of relevant codes and standards on design including codes and
practices.
5)Senior
Planners/Planners
-Diploma/Degree
in Engineering/relevant discipline.
-5 to 7 years
of relevant experience (>8 years for Senior Planners) of project planning
and cost control.
-Proficiency
with Primavera 6 software.
6)PDMS
Designers & Draughtspersons
-Diploma/ a
recognized technical qualification in a relevant branch of engineering.
-3 to 5 years
relevant experience working the oil and gas projects.
7)Lead
Engineers/Lead Designers (Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Piping,
Civil, Structural)
-A minimum of
15 years total experience in engineering design works for offshore and/or
onshore oil & gas projects.
-Registered
Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia in the relevant
discipline with at least 7 years working experience in oil and gas projects.
8)Senior
Engineers/ Senior Designers (Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Process,
Piping, Civil, Structural)
-At least 8
years total experience in engineering design works for offshore and/ or onshore
oil & gas projects.
9)Engineers/
Designers (Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Piping, Civil,
Structural)
-At least 3
years total experience in engineering design works for offshore and/ or onshore
oil & gas projects.
Applicants
for the Engineering roles above shall possess:
-A recognized
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Bachelor of Engineering in the relevant
discipline/ Diploma and/ or relevant technical qualification for Designers.
-A thorough
knowledge of codes and standards applicable to engineering design as well as
knowledge of equipment design (e.g. AISS, AWS D1.1, API etc).
-A broad
understanding of all other engineering disciplines, communication and work
planning skills are required.
