Jobs for QA Engineer. Project is in Iraq but the position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Sealine Project costs USD 518M to install an additional SPM, 75 km of 48” pipelines, two offshore platforms and valve stations and oil management control systems in the Arabian Gulf, offshore Iraq. Client is Iraq South Oil Company and PMC is Japanese.
The role reports directly to Project QA Manager (Indian nationality), where he reports functionally (GM, QHSE) as his Sponsor.
The position is specific for QA scope only where some of the responsibilities are:
- Monitor the project QA/QC progress
- Compile QA/QC data from Project QA Manager and Project QC Manager for the preparation of monthly QA/QC Report to Client and to Corporate
- Coordinate with Inspection Coordinator for updates of integrated inspection and testing programme
- Manage audits at project (the engineering, project management and procurement audits are already completed, to coordinate audits for manufacturing/fabrication and construction/installation activities)
- Conduct Desktop Review and Surveillance Checks (Project Assurance Program) for project EPCIC business process within the company
- Coordinate with Project QC Manager for Project Assurance Program with the Suppliers
