Position : Welding Inspector
Experience : Reasonable working experience with tank welding construction
Experience : Reasonable working experience with tank welding construction
Duration/Period : 4 month ( Jan to April 2012 )
Location : Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal (TCOT)
Responsibility : Ensure the quality welding of the tank T-2511 strengthening work at TCOT
Qualification : Degree in Engineering
Min. 5 years experience with Tank

i) To prepare / review : Weld control procedure with detail sketches and welding sequences to control shell warping and distortion. Preheat and inter pass temperature control procedure
ii) Recommend additional procedure required for tank strengthening work at TCOT
iii) Witness the mock up welding activity in KSB KHL fabrication site
iv) Monitor the daily execution of the welding activities to avoid tank shell distortion recommend control and mitigation in heat effected zone.
